I see the gospel alive in a conversation over coffee

How do I see the gospel alive? 

This week, I met with someone for the first time at a Tim Hortons in his neighborhood. As I arrived, he was outside having coffee with another man. When I walked up, he introduced me to Jeff.

Jeff is someone who spends a lot of time outside that Tim Hortons and is probably someone many people pass by. 

After we went inside and started talking, my new friend shared that he often makes a point of spending time with Jeff because life hasn’t been easy for him. They have built a relationship, and he has had the chance to share the gospel with him. Jeff is on a journey of understanding who Jesus is.

What stood out to me was the intentional choice to slow down, buy a coffee, sit, and spend time with someone who is often overlooked.
